This week we were delighted to welcome Year 1 pupils from Richmond House School in Far Headingley to our office for a fun and interactive learning experience all about how estate agents help people to move home. The children were full of curiosity as we explored what it feels like to move house — from the excitement of choosing their own bedroom and playing in a bigger garden, to making friends in a new area.
We also talked about what buying a home really means, explaining that for most people it’s the biggest purchase they’ll ever make. The pupils had great fun guessing how much it might cost to buy a two-bedroom house in the Headingley area — with some entertaining answers!
During the session, we showed them how we help people find their dream homes — using maps, property photos, floorplans, and even an iPad virtual tour so they could “walk” around a property without leaving their seats.

To finish off, the children took part in a lively role-play activity, answering phone calls and booking viewings just like real estate agents! Their enthusiasm and thoughtful questions made the morning a real joy for everyone involved.

The presentation was led by Jon and Laura from our team, who thoroughly enjoyed sharing what we do and giving the pupils a glimpse into the world of property.
We loved having Richmond House visit us and hope we inspired a few future estate agents along the way!
